Green City Force means to me a no-judgment zone. It is a Force that all people of different skin tones share the same beliefs as you do. It is a safe place where you could be who you are and no one would turn their back on you. I chose to become a Corps Member with GCF because I wanted to help my community and I wanted to be around people who also had the drive to make a change in people’s life. The most important thing I learned during my time at GCF is don’t let your fears stop you from doing the things that you want to do in life. This world is your oyster. I would like to thank Cohort 23 for letting me be myself and to see all the young people close to my age achieving their goals, one step at a time.
