Cohort 30

Green City Force has taught me what it truly means to take responsibility. I am grateful to have been chosen as a member of Cohort 30. Over these past six months, I faced many challenges, but every challenge taught me an important lesson about life. When I first started, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. Every day, I worked on becoming a more mature, responsible, and dependable version of myself. To anyone reading this, remember that six months goes by quickly. Enjoy the little moments because they become the memories you’ll carry with you. I want to give a special shout-out to Mariam for always encouraging me to show up every day. Keep people in your circle who inspire you to become better. A big thank you to Kawon for teaching me the importance of attention to detail. Thank you to Robin for being honest with me, even when the truth was difficult to hear. Sometimes I can be stubborn, but those conversations helped me grow. One of the biggest lessons I learned is that when you make plans, don’t become careless or disorganized. If something comes up, communicate with your supervisor or manager as soon as possible. Being responsible, staying organized, and arriving on time are habits that will help you succeed in any career. If you make lateness and poor communication a habit, it can cost you future job opportunities. Thank you, Green City Force, for helping me grow—not only as a worker, but as a person. I will always be grateful for this experience and the people who helped shape my journey.
