Green City Force (GCF) has meant a lot to me because it has given me a sense of community and the opportunity to work together with my fellow Corps Members to help residents. I enjoyed watching our community grow the food they like and being able to provide it to them at the farm stand. I chose to become a Corps Member with GCF because I was curious about the program and wanted to learn more about it after my father told me about the opportunity. Before joining GCF, I was in college studying veterinary science. The most important thing I learned during my time with GCF is how important it is to help the community and provide food to community members. Seeing people happy and thankful when they come to the farm stand to receive the food we grew really brightens my day.
