NYCHA Resident?

GCF’s Service Corps works with and for NYCHA residents to build sustainable public housing communities. Take home fresh produce, volunteer at the farms, share your feedback, and learn what other sustainability programs GCF offers directly to NYCHA residents.

18-24 year old public housing and low-income residents become sustainability leaders in the Service Corps. Join the Corps or refer a young adult you know to apply.

Volunteering



GCF offers corporate and other organizational group volunteer experiences with our supporters. Whether your team wants to pitch in at Farms at NYCHA through our Eco-Hubs or help Corps Members build strong resumes and interview skills, GCF has an opportunity for your group.

APRIL 2024 UPDATE: We are currently working to respond to an influx of volunteer requests for the 2024 season. If you have emailed us, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
