Green City Force means quite a lot to me, it gave me something to do, gave me purpose. ‘I’m just trying to get this money’ – that was and still is in a way my mindset when I was coming into Green City Force. GCF has been everything but easy for me as someone who has gone from wasting my days sleeping until noon to waking up early in the morning and arriving earlier than most. What I will say is that my choice to become a Corps Member was solely on the fact that my mom (my biggest supporter) believed that if my sisters could do it, so can I because I’m her son; there was also the fact that I wanted to better myself. The most important thing I’ve learned during my time with GCF is to not doubt what you’re capable of because you never know unless you get out there and give it a shot. I would love to give my sincerest shout-out to some of my team members I had the honor of working with who are Jerry Campos, Terrence Richards, Orion Smith, Amir Michael, Cerenity Mejia along with Fellow Scotty and staff member Nick. They have made my experience one to remember for a lifetime.
