I’m not exactly an outside person, I’m normally a very solitary person as well, but there was something about the work I did that really resonated with me. I felt the work kind of click into place and to see the results of said work. Distributing the vegetables I grew or transplanted, watching little dots of green practically transform overnight. I wasn’t expecting to like the work I did, so to enjoy it this much is its own little gift. This feeling is not including the certifications and the benefits the program already provided. I’ll certainly cherish the memories and accomplishments I have made over the season for years to come.
