Green City Force has aided and trained me to become a better person, it gave me the chance to grow, learn new skills, and gave me the space to be more prepared for the world through service and giving back to communities. I chose to become a Corps Member with GCF because after seeing what they offered and explained how they prepared you for jobs, I thought it would be the best path for me in becoming a more confident and qualified person for jobs and interviews. Before GCF I was focused on trying to figure out my next steps, how to lead with confidence, and time management, but this program gave me structure, motivation, and hands-on experience in fields like solar, sustainability, and community service to better prepare me for a greener future. The most important thing I learned while I was serving my term in GCF is that leadership isn’t just about position and titles, it’s about service, teamwork, and pushing through challenges together.
