Before I joined Green City Force I didn’t have much direction in what I wanted to do, then my brother came in the house with a poster about the Green City Force info session. I went to the info session with an open mind and after that, I saw the growth that I could gain if I joined. Now that I’m at the end of my service term, I’ve gained the skills and knowledge that I can now apply to my life. The reason why I became a Corps Member with GCF is that I saw the opportunity to grow and I have something I can pass on to the next generation to show them there’s another way. I really was able to reflect on myself with the help of the staff and my service coordinator. I want to thank the staff for pushing me not only to be good at what I do but to be great at what I do.
