Green City Force is like a practice job that gives you skills and helps you for your future jobs. The main thing it helps you with is being on time because nobody likes a person that is always late. I was actually looking for a job around the time I joined GCF and my mother sent me the link to the website and told me to apply for this program. I read the benefits of getting my OSHA and doing solar so I said this would be something nice. My last job was a UPS delivery driver helper but that was only seasonal so after that I was looking for a new job. GCF teaches you a lot about our communities. The most important thing that I learned was that there are more things in our community that are bad for us than good. I feel like GCF opened my eyes more about what’s going on in the world and my community. I would like to thank the whole Green City Force program for everything and I would like to give a personal thanks to my Service Coordinator Marc.
