Green City Force for me went from finding just another job to a potential career opportunity. I stayed with GCF to challenge myself in commitment; however, upon coming to work every day for the last 6 months I’ve also added betterment, self-development, and growth. I’ve also gained a sense of belonging and extended family. I never knew what it was like being part of a community other than the one your area code says you live in so coming here was very bright and refreshing. I wish I could thank everybody at this program because everybody from the EHF to Career Services and everywhere in between helped me achieve my goal of furthering my experience in developing my career as a youth advocate/developer.
