Cohort 26

Quintin Knox (he/him)

What Green City Force meant to me is that it provided valuable opportunities for myself and pushed me to engage in environmental sustainability initiatives and gain valuable skills. I choose to become a Corps Member with GCF to make a positive impact on my communities, develop job skills, and contribute to a more sustainable future. Before GCF I was going from job to job trying to find what worked best for me, a few jobs that I enjoyed but didn’t see myself doing for a long time. Some of the most important things I learned during my time at Green City Force are the important skills related to sustainability, community engagement, teamwork, leadership, and personal development. Also, an understanding of environmental issues and learning practical skills related to green technology, urban agriculture and energy efficiency. I want to thank everyone from the staff and other Corps Members because day to day everyone held each other accountable and wanted the best out of each other. I can’t say a lot of places I worked for it’s been like that, so I’m glad I joined GCF.
