Cohort 26

Chrissy Williams (she/her)

When I started with GCF, all I knew was I was in a bad situation and I liked plants. I never could imagine how much knowledge and self development I would learn during my time here. Before GCF I was walking dogs and taking multiple jobs. I knew I wanted to work on myself and grow as a person and meet most of GCF’s requirements. When I applied I was already interested in entrepreneurship, but GCF took my passion to another level. They teach information about financial literacy, taxes, environmental justice, and overall how to be a helpful worker in a functional society. I’m grateful for Giselle and Nasyah for always having my back and finding the best solutions for me and my growth. I would also like to thank every single Black woman in the program for showing me how to be myself and a leader at the same time.
