Green City Force has meant everything to me. It has been a life-changing experience that has shaped me into the person I am today. I chose to become a Corps Member because I wanted to make a difference in my community and contribute to the fight against climate change. Before GCF, I was struggling to find purpose and direction in life. GCF provided an opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge, and confidence that I never thought I could possess. The most important thing I learned is the power of teamwork and collaboration. Working with my fellow Corps Members and the dedicated staff at GCF taught me the importance of communication, trust, and supporting one another. Together, we accomplished projects that had a positive impact on our community and the environment. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my journey. They believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself and pushed me to reach my full potential. I also want to thank my fellow Corps Members for their friendship, encouragement, and camaraderie. Lastly, I am grateful to my family and friends for their love and support during this transformative experience. GCF has truly changed my life, and I am forever grateful for the opportunities it has given me.
