I live in Manhattan within a housing development called Rangel Houses. Before Green City Force I was working at Target, but then one day I lost my job and couldn’t find another job for a year. During that time I was always home doing nothing all day; I needed a change. Finally, one day a friend of mine recommended that I join Green City Force. Little did I know that this would be one of the best decisions of my life. Green City Force means opportunity. I have learned skills, like how to be punctual and very professional through the guidance of every Team Leader and I thank them for that very much. After Green City Force I plan to start a career with the certification and skills I have gained. Once again, I would like thank the staff for your guidance and help through my struggles. I would also like to thank the Green City Force Corps Members for making this cohort interesting and fun.
