GCF has become a new way of life for me. It makes me feel good to know that I came to this program without much but left with new friends and allies, new job skills, and also lots of new communication skills and job opportunities. I’m glad to have been a GCF Corps Member and I honor those I met through this program. Also I want to thank this program for making me a better and greener individual. One of the Corps Members once said “We’re AmeriCorps, we stick together.” That saying has become a philosophy to me. I went from a loner to being a part of a 24-person family. I’m glad I got to meet everyone here and I hope the next cohort adheres to this quote. Also I pray that June 29th isn’t the last time we all come together.
