The reason I chose to apply to GCF is because I wanted to try something new. Before GCF I was not doing anything, which I wanted to change. The most important thing that I learned from GCF is to be more open and confident on things I say and do. Green City Force to me is like a family–people who are always there for you and who also want the best for you. My plan for after GCF is to go to college for early childhood education and a job within the energy auditing field. I would like to thank my Team Leader, Josh, and my former Team Leader, Shanee, for believing in me when I didn’t really believe in myself, and everyone else (family, friends and staff) for pushing me to be the best I can be.
