I came into Green City Force not knowing what to expect. I wasn’t working or going to school, but I knew that I needed to do something with myself. Going out into service and helping the underprivileged, I found a purpose in helping those that need it the most. In a sense, I saw myself the same way I see those we serve: someone in need of help. It’s more than just light bulbs and recycling bags, you’re creating opportunities in areas that are in need, bringing change in neighborhoods that haven’t seen it. You, as a Green City Force Corps Member, are bringing hope back into these communities, and that’s the greatest service of all.
