When I first entered the Green City Force info session I didn’t realize that I was joining an organization that could have an exponential impact on my being successful. I remember listening to the inspirational words behind the recruiter and thinking that this part of my life will be a stepping stone towards greatness. Now that I have made it to the end of my term, I know there will be Corps Members following in my footsteps. Unbeknownst to them is that all of their past experiences have led them to this moment and an opportunity that will help them overcome any future obstacles. As I move forward towards other things, I will always remember that GCF taught me that patience and tolerance are virtues, and practicing who you want to be everyday will never lead you astray.
