Cohort 28

Randy Rosario (he/him)

GCF has been a motivational inspiration in my professional development. They’ve shown me a whole new environment that I thrive in. I feel like a whole new person with the knowledge they’ve given me. I aspire to be an advocate for positive change and have new meaning to add on to the change. I chose to become a Corps Member because I felt that the program had been in alignment with what I was previously doing at Drive Change. I’ve learned to never give up in GCF because there’s always opportunities to grasp despite obstacles. I never gave up on GCF despite being rejected on my first go around and that was an initial flame to try again. When you don’t give up on yourself, others around you start seeing what you see and all it takes is that one person. Jordan saw my passion and motivation for GCF and here I am about to become an alum! I’d like to thank Jordan for seeing what nobody else saw in me; Nasyah, my initial Service Coordinator for guiding my flames in passion for GCF; and Hakim, my temporary Service Coordinator and Service Manager for the downtown sites for motivating me and also guiding me.
