I greatly appreciate the purpose of Green City Force and the commitment to the community. It inspired me to continue looking into outreach and nonprofit work moving forward and find other ways to help the communities that deserve it most due to disinvestment. I also like how it allowed me to get to know the people in my cohort and a sense of extended family that it brings along with all the things they taught us. It has caused me to want to continue to be part of community outreach by dedicating support and assistance that is needed in the most marginalized of places. I hope to continue to make a difference in my next steps in life through all I have learned and connections I have made here at GCF. Shoutout to my Wagner team and our Service Coordinator, Chass, we grew to feel like a family and they are what got me through this service term.
