When I first came to Green City Force I didn’t know anything about farming or agriculture and I didn’t enjoy it too much. As time went on I started to enjoy working on a farm and being a part of something good in the community. Before I came to GCF I had one job. GCF showed me a different workplace, better than the one before. I came to GCF to get my OSHA, license and the other certifications they offer. During my time in GCF I learned a lot about teamwork and speaking to people I don’t know. I would say the most important thing that I learned in Green City Force is to always be open minded to learning new things even if it doesn’t interest you because you never know if something is worth it or not until you try. I want to thank my supervisor for teaching me about the farm and encouraging me. I also want to shout out to the Support Services team for checking in.
