Before Green City Force, I was on a path of self-destruction. I was very into the party lifestyle, so much in fact that it resulted in me dropping out of college and in limbo between jobs, none of which promised any career advancement. I first decided to apply when I received an email through NYCHA’s Newsletter. I decided to give it a try as a jumpstart for me to return to college. Green City Force has molded me to a person who has many skills and can go anywhere he wants to on his path of success. Through GCF I discovered my interest in becoming a Building Superintendent and thanks to all the staff at GCF, I will return to college this coming spring. The past 6 months formed an experience I will never forget.
Big shout out to all my team members in Team Lawrence, and a big thanks to both my Team Leader Lawrence Harris and Mannah, who helped me with my math skills!
