Cohort 25

Niles Gray

What GCF has meant to me is to face tasks with grit and integrity. The reason I became a Corps Member is to become something bigger than myself. To learn how to work as a team with young adults just like me trying to find their journey. Before GCF I didn’t have a path. I wanted to go to college, but I didn’t have the confidence that I’ll be able to do well academically. I had a hard time trying to find a job to help decide what career I wanted to start. That’s when I learned with GCF that it’s okay to make mistakes and take the courage to be a leader for myself and others. To network and really see what’s out there. To go out every day to be the best version of myself. I want to thank my family for being supportive through this experience. I would also like to thank my Service Coordinator Nasyah and my Eco-Hub Fellows Kaylah and Mikey for their leadership and support. I would like to thank the Bay View team for their grit and perseverance to get things done this season. I appreciate the rest of the staff, Fellows and Cohort 25. I’m ready to use the knowledge I learned from GCF moving forward.
