What Green City Force means to me is better opportunities and a healthier outlook on life. I chose Green City Force because I needed a platform that was going to help me better my life and expand my mind. Before Green City Force I was trying to find myself and working as a babysitter. The most important thing I learned in Green City Force was how to grow my own food, which I find very important in this type of world where there’s food injustice in poor neighborhoods. After GCF I’m planning to go and teach people and also hopefully will work for an urban garden. I would like to thank Jennifer Tirado, our director, Team Leaders Andrew, Renee and Ashley, Corp Members Shantelay and Will, and my family, the Trammells.
