What Green City Force means to me is growth. I feel like throughout my experience I have grown a lot. Before I came to Green City Force I was at another job program, just trying to find my way in this world. I wanted to go to GCF because I was tired of doing nothing in my life and I wanted to change for the better, to be a better me. Throughout my experience I’ve had my share of trials and tribulations. Sometimes I wanted to give up, but thanks to my Team Leader, Aram, and my Corps mates I was determined to stay positive, keep my head up and keep moving forward. I never gave up and now I’m beginning a new chapter in my life. After graduation I will be working with GrowNYC as a Compost Coordinator, because I love the idea of changing people’s perspectives.
