Green City Force opened a new path for me, one that I would have never thought of taking before. I chose to become a Corps Member because I felt lost; I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I was stuck and wasn’t sure what I wanted in life. Something important that I learned during my time in GCF was that persistence is key. If you want something, you have to continue to strive for it. My plans afterwards would be to work and attend school. I would like to thank my cousin, who was very enthusiastic about me joining GCF, as he did. I’d also like to thank a couple of Corps Members whom I became good friends with, and who saw through the mask and helped lift my spirits when I was down.
