In a world full of garbage and trash, Green City Force taught me not to be a mirror but an agent of change. The Corp Member experience deliberately creates and nurtures environmental activists by the dozens. I feel lucky to have this experience, to work and do something that gave and continues to give me purpose. I will use this experience to bring about positive change in my community. Prior to my term here I was working jobs that left me unfulfilled. I joined Green City Force because I knew it would give me the knowledge and time I need to develop my skills and learn enough to make a difference, small or large. What I didn’t know is that here I would be joining a family. I want to personally thank Devante, my SC who never lost sight of his goals for his team as well as all the members of Operations and Support Services. Steve, Devon, Jacqui, Meg – I look forward to making this organization proud and I wish good luck to any one joining this program.
