For me, Green City Force was taking the first step to becoming the best version of myself. I was working a dead end desk job before joining Green City Force. I chose to become a Corps Member because it was a chance to become part of a movement that will change the way public housing is viewed. The most important thing that I’ve learned here is that I don’t have to do everything alone. After GCF I plan to stay with agriculture, become a comedian, and earn Corps Member of the year at the 2020 Corps Network conference. I would like to thank David Buckel and Domingo Morales for showing me that working hard consistently is important, but so are the other skills that come with finding employment.
