Being in Green City Force has meant a lot to me because I got to learn a lot about my environment and the ways I could help to save it. Before GCF I was taking care of my daughter and looking to support her. I chose to become a GCF Corps Member because I want to become a Marine Biologist so I can help unpollute the water and save our marine life. At GCF I learned how to grow crops, which crops can grow in the different seasons and when you should start putting seeds in the soil so they can grow. I also learned about aquaponics, where you grow fish and plants together in one integrated system. After GCF I am planning to go back to school to get my degree in Marine Biology and work with an aquaponics system. I would like to thank Lisbeth Shepherd for telling me I should talk up more because I have great opinions that need to be heard.
