Green City Force has helped me gain experience in areas I probably never would have on my own. I have matured greatly and realized that I can take control of my life. I feel that I can go anywhere, meet anyone, do any job! GCF has given me a new family in 6 short months. I am proud I had the chance to grow with this team. I have a new respect for leadership and those who fill that role. It’s not about being the best or making the rules, it’s about bringing people together in the best way – to accomplish a goal. I realize that a “leader” isn’t such a leader at all. A leader is someone with a duty to the team; without the team there can be no leader. Leaders take on the responsibility of catering to others.
