My experience with Green City Force was amazing. Serving with Green City Force has provided me with the opportunity to not only educate residents but to work hands-on with NYCHA residents and developed me to become a positive influence within my community. I chose to become a Corps Member with GCF because I wanted to be a bigger role model for my younger siblings. The most important thing I learned during my time with GCF was finding a passion for being an electrician. I want to thank my Team Leaders and everyone on GCF staff for being so supportive to me, helping me professionally and mentally. I’m grateful for being given this opportunity to meet these amazing people I connected with and now call family. My plan after GCF is to have sustainability in my life.
