GCF and the people within it have given me the opportunities to improve as a person and to help out in communities. The reason I chose to come to GCF was because it was one of the few open doors to me, one that actually seemed cool to join a program that would get me to move my body much more than others. Before GCF I was in a trade school learning to become a plumber but unfortunately I took it for granted. I’d say the most important thing I’ve learned from GCF would be time management – before, I’d get into this bad habit of getting to places on time at first but then just keep coming in late, but with GCF they’ve helped me fix that by keeping me on my toes and with other incentives. I’d like to thank Nasyah and Howard for keeping these past few months fun and enjoyable, for helping me get to the end.
