Learning about environmental injustice through Green City Force was very eye opening. I’ve always felt like I didn’t fit into the standard schooling or work system, and wondered about the disadvantages in my community. I’ve come to realize it’s because I haven’t learned about finding purpose. I never felt connected to the work that was asked of me, and always felt like the conditions of these systems were a problem. Green City Force was a step to a real world solution.
