Green City Force certainly surpassed my expectations. Their professionalism and passion surely paved the way for me to grow as a person inside and out. Since being accepted by Green City Force, I’ve been able to strengthen my soft and hard skills as well as learn some new ones. I’ve had some amazing experiences and networked with some very interesting people. From working on a farm in Red Hook to doing Hurricane Sandy relief work in my own neighborhood, it has given me a sense of pride and accomplishment. I’ve been challenged in almost every aspect for 6 months and have overcome them with courage. Green City Force is a humbling experience. You learn to serve and help others as well as your own self. After this, I see many new doors opened to me, and others I’m ready to kick in!
