Green City Force has been an engaging way of interacting with different people through day-to-day service outreach and other activities. I chose to become a Corps Member because I needed more experience and qualifications, which going through the program has given me. Before becoming a Member I was working on getting my OSHA-30 and asbestos handlers license. One of the most important things I learned at GCF was that people shouldn’t drop cooking grease or oil down sink drains or toilets. My plans after GCF are to work on getting my own place, and a stable way to support myself and my endeavors. I want to thank all of the GCF staff for believing in each one of us, my fellow Corps Members for providing what we do each day, and my mom for being all the world that she is.
