Before Green City Force I was sitting at home doing nothing. I had just finished graduating High School and didn’t know what to do with my life. So for me, GCF was a guide, a path to a future, and my light at the end of the tunnel. GCF has given me so many opportunities and a career path that I am excited to follow. I chose to become a Corps Member because I felt that I could better myself through GCF, while at the same time doing something that is helpful to not only my community but also my city and the individuals who live in it. After GCF, I plan on going to college for business and getting my MBA so that I can start my own business. That idea of becoming an entrepreneur was planted in my head by GCF because they believe that we all should pursue any ideas we might have with confidence. For all that they have done and what they have yet to do, I want to thank the entire GCF staff, for they have all helped me in different ways. I also want to thank my fellow Corps Members for taking this journey with me and being there when I needed them.
