GCF has reinforced the importance of teamwork to me. The civic courses, vocabulary tests, outreach opportunities, multi-family work (home energy audits), community meetings, and holistic approach to building sustainability internally and externally have been a blessing in the midst of a time of growing pains for me, instilling fortitude and reminding me of the potential energy I have that must be put into motion every day. As a result, I rediscovered my love for reading, and have kept a journal for self-reflection.
