Green City Force has meant justice to our black and brown folks that are victims to different injustices such as food and environmental injustices. I chose to become a Corps Member so that I can assist in making low income neighborhoods a better place in the long run in terms of making a difference in this society. Before GCF, I was attempting to make a way for myself by doing different insignificant internships but I found GCF and truly admired the way you guys operated. The most important thing that I’ve learned while being here is to always enjoy the process and to try my best at all times. I want to thank all of GCF for being there for me and always welcoming me back.
