Cohort 28

Jaimere Rush (he/him)

Cohort 28 is my second attempt at GCF after I got terminated in Cohort 27, but that termination was the best-case scenario for me. It allowed me to transform into the person I am now. Back in ’27, I didn’t talk much at all, so, for each time I didn’t talk in ’27, I started a conversation in ’28. I didn’t answer many questions in ’27, so, for each time I didn’t answer a question in ’27, I answered a question in ’28. So on and so forth. I wanted to do a 180 change. I succeeded. I changed so much that people can’t believe that I was the complete opposite of who I was before. This program was the best thing that could’ve happened to me, financially, mentally, physically, and especially spiritually. I won’t ever forget my time in GCF. I want to thank my entire Wagner Team (Chastidy, Keith, Shannon, Anthony, JC & Nick) for the progression of my character. Each and every one of them helped me in ways I appreciate so much. Especially Chastidy, the person who made me push myself further than I thought was possible. Even Devante for putting up with me in the last cohort.
