Green City Force to me is a place where I felt the most like myself. I could walk onto my site and forget the world of responsibility I had at home. I chose to become a Corps Member because I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself. Before GCF, I was sitting at home all day wondering if I should go back to school. Green City Force taught me that going to college and getting a bachelor’s degree in something that will make me more money than happiness isn’t the only way to go about life. I can go into the green sector and do something that I love. I’d like to thank the Wagner team for making me laugh when I wanted to cry.
