Cohort 21

Jacob Gomez

My experience in GCF was a learning experience. I learned that being resilient and focused is what will get me through my work. Serving on the farm and talking with my peers and supervisors on the field showed me that you must have a voice. It is important to communicate with your peers to be able to get things done more efficiently. I chose to become a Corps Member because I wanted to jump start some sort of framework, figure out what essential skills I need to get into the working field and what I would want to do as a job. The most important thing I learned from GCF is punctuality and having a voice is very important. To be on time is important, and being able to communicate your needs as to what you need.
