With the help of my peers, I discovered that GCF was not just a service opportunity. It meant a small contribution towards a big impact inside our own communities. Being able to repurpose our urban spaces into more sustainable resources means a lot for our future. With this in mind I could not pass up the opportunity to be part of this change and to contribute to our farms along with a team of individuals just like me. I heard about GCF from a simple flier inside of my own development. I was amazed at finding an organization with people my age and with the same lifestyle experiences as I did, and to be able to work with them for the past 6 months.
