When I joined Green City Force, I had low expectations. I joined on a whim, not knowing that this would be one of the most amazing impromptu decisions I’ve ever made. My main motivation at the time was to just go out and connect with people again because I was deprived of that during the pandemic. I was stuck at home all day, every single day, going to my college classes virtually and eventually it became a bit suffocating. However, once I became a Corps Member, I got exactly what I was looking for and more. I learned to have a better relationship with myself and reignite hidden passions that have been missing for some time now. I couldn’t have grown this much without the help of my team at Forest. To the rest of the Forest team, thank you all for being one of the main highlights of my life for the past 8 months. I love y’all!!
