“What You Do In The Present, Will Result In Your Future”
When I joined Green City Force I developed my essential skills and experienced great opportunities throughout my six months. As a Corps Member I have traveled all five boroughs to do service and it makes me feel good to serve my community. Green City Force helped develop my professionalism, punctuality, and my commitment to complete my objectives. I chose to become a Corps Member to make positive changes in my life and other peoples’ lives and to help make the world a better and more sustainable place. Before GCF I was working a dead-end job and I was stressed. The most important thing I have learned during my time in GCF is to always maintain professionalism, because you never know when your opportunity will come. So it is very important to be prepared and ready at all times. My plan after GCF is to enroll back into college to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Human Services so I can become a social worker. I also plan to go into a great working field and to use the essential skills I developed in GCF in my employment. My goal is to keep taking initiative to lead me up a pathway to great success. I would like to thank my mom for recommending me to Green City Force. I would also like to thank Oronde Tennant; as my Team Leader he has disciplined and trained me to be a great individual.
