Green City Force has become to me a place of growth and renewal – I say this because of the many opportunities and lessons being taught here have helped me grow, connect and advance into the next steps of my path to success in life. I chose to become a Corps Member with GCF because I saw an opportunity here for me to learn more and give a new opportunity a chance to show me something greater. Before GCF I had just finished my contract with the military and wanted to expand more in a new area. So I became a Tasker on Task Rabbit (independent contractor). It’s an amazing hustle, you meet and connect with new people everyday in the same way GCF connects us to more people and career opportunities. The most important thing I learned during my time with GCF is to never waste an opportunity and time given to me for my success! I want to thank Nasyah, my Service Coordinator and the new friends I have met here, staff and my family for their continuing support!
