Coming out of high school, I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life. I didn’t know if I wanted to go to school or get a job. I saw that Green City Force was an opportunity for young adults like myself to gain skill sets that could be transferred into the workforce. When the opportunity came my way I wanted to see what it was about. Now six months in it has taught me how to be sustainable & have a green thumb. I want to thank Che for being my first team leader and for telling me never to settle. Also I want to thank Farmer John for all the facts that he told me about the plants and the farm. Finally, I want to everyone that I have met through GCF.
