At the beginning I didn’t really know what Green City Force stood for or what it was. But now, after 6 months of service, I can see that I have grown mentally and physically. Green City Force for me means to have a lot of grit, grind and dedication with a little side of willpower. I have gained all by doing this program. I have learned many skills from Green City Force that I can use in all areas of life and I’m grateful for that. To me, this is the best non-profit organization, and they help and nurture the youth. I feel like I’m a part of something, and even though I’m leaving I feel like GCF is forever. I would like to thank my service coordinator Jelani and the rest of my team for helping me through these 6 months of service.
