Before joining Green City Force, I was working at a law firm in downtown Brooklyn, focusing on civil rights. I chose to become a Corps Member to gain new work experience and because I’ve always been interested in agricultural work. During my time with GCF, I learned so many new skills and built strong friendships. One thing that stuck with me throughout my service term is to never take anything for granted — I saw how quickly things can change, and I’m proud that I stayed focused and made it to graduation. I want to thank the staff, my fellow Corps Members, and everyone who supported me along the way.
