I became a member of Green City Force because I wanted to gain experience in the urban agriculture industry. During my 6-month term, I learned a lot about farm maintenance, giving back to the community and food justice. Green City Force has been helpful with me gaining my OSHA 40 and gaining experience in horticulture & agriculture. I would love to thank my Mariners team for always showing support and educating me. I would also love to give thanks to Jeffrey, Justin, Steve and Giselle. They all nagged me during my term but it’s because they want what’s best for me and I love them for it.
