I chose to become a Corps Member because I wanted to learn more about the agricultural sector while still interacting and helping the community. Before GCF I was in college but I wanted to do something more meaningful for the environment. I thought that GCF was the perfect opportunity for that because we’re helping people who live in low income housing which is a plus because most people forget about how low income housing doesn’t really have resources and GCF provides that for them. During GCF I learned how to better myself in many aspects such as personal, career and financials. I learned how to be a better me and how to interact with others in a work setting. Green City Force has been great. The work we do is phenomenal. It also takes a lot of hard work and discipline to be a part of the Green City Force. I would like to thank Dani, Jacqui and Giselle for making my service term go by smoothly.
